Commemorative Medal of the War 1940-1945

This was instituted on 16 February 1946. Anyone who served in any of the Belgian armed forces, merchant marine, etc. during World War 2 (for Belgium, this lasted from 10 May 1940 to 7 May 1945) was eligible. Various emblems may be attached to it.
