W.W.I Victory medal

As with all the Allied countries, Belgium issued its version of the Allied Victory Medal in 1919. It was originally issued to personnel who had served in the mobilised armed forces but was later extended to others who had served, such as fishermen and merchant sailors during the War - 1 August 1914 - 11 November 1918.
